Such a creative idea to add turmeric into your morning waffles! They’re fluffy, slightly sweet, oil-free, and GOLDEN. What more could you ask for? 🙌🏼 Here’s the recipe: -1/2 cup (40g) ground oats -1/4 cup (30g) flour (I used whole wheat) -1 scoop of plant-based vanilla protein OR sub another 1/4 cup (30g) flour -1/2 tsp. Truly Turmeric -1 tsp. baking powder -1 tsp. vanilla extract -2 tbsp. sweetener of choice -1/4 cup (60g) applesauce -1/2 cup (120mL) water/ plant milk
Simply mix all ingredients in a medium bowl, then bake in a waffle maker /mold according to instructions. I did not need to grease mine, but brushing with oil may help. The same batter can be used to cook as you would any pancakes. Enjoy!
